Our Story

Founded in 2016, DC416 evolved from informal gatherings in local tech spaces into one of Canada's most respected cybersecurity communities. Today we host regular meetups, workshops, and collaborative projects that unite students, researchers, and professionals across the Greater Toronto Area.

Our community remains strictly vendor neutral and driven by its members. We believe in the power of shared knowledge to create a space where everyone from beginners to industry veterans can advance the field of security together.

KC Udonsi

Co-Organizer (2026-Present)

Security engineer operating at the intersection of AI and offensive research. KC specializes in AI-native application security, Cloud, and Web3 smart contract auditing. A CISSP holder focused on attack automation, exploit development, and advanced malware analysis.

Amir Hosseinpour

Amir Hosseinpour

Co-Organizer (2026-Present)

Offensive security specialist focused on Smart Buildings (BAS/BMS) and OT/IoT environments. Amir leads end-to-end security assessments, from web apps to enterprise networks, and is a regular speaker on adversary simulation and modern API attack chains.

Adrian Korn

Adrian Korn

Co-Organizer (2019-2024)

Manager of Detection and Threat Intelligence at Datadog protecting multi cloud infrastructure and software supply chains. With over 10 years in threat research and operations Adrian previously founded the Threat Intelligence Research team at Arctic Wolf and served as Director of OSINT Operations at Trace Labs. He is a regular speaker at international conferences including DEF CON Recon Village and Hackfest.

Cybersecurity leader with a decade of experience leading global threat intelligence teams and shaping enterprise defense strategies. James drives innovation in applied AI and builds intelligence sharing partnerships across government and industry. He delivers executive level insights that strengthen organizational resilience and business outcomes.

Founder

Co-author of "Black Hat GraphQL" and "Black Hat Bash", and Head of Security Operations at Robinhood. Nick is a recognized leader in the cybersecurity landscape, specializing in offensive security, penetration testing, and GraphQL research. He bridges the gap between complex engineering and strategic security leadership.

Dolev Farhi

Dolev Farhi

Co-Founder

Security engineer and co-author of "Black Hat GraphQL" and "Black Hat Bash" with deep expertise in both offensive and defensive strategies. Dolev leads high-performing teams and develops cutting-edge security tools, utilizing his background in offensive tactics to uncover vulnerabilities and build robust defensive architectures.
