Threat intel with Geofencing, Malware Researching & The Path to IT security

The October 2017 meetup had three speakers. Peter Desfigies of TELUS covered geofence monitoring for threat intel and reconnaissance, with a walkthrough of an automated monitor built in Maltego. Yevgeny Kulakov, a malware reverse engineer, talked about getting into malware research and the skills it takes to stay on top of the cat and mouse game, along with stories from his years in the field. Brandon Krieger shared his path into IT security over the past two years, including the challenges and what he wished were different for newcomers.
