Pride Toronto X Trace Labs OSINT CTF for Missing Persons

A full-day Missing Persons CTF run with Trace Labs and Pride Toronto at Daniels Spectrum. Teams of up to four, a mix of professional investigators and OSINT enthusiasts, searched online for 8 missing persons from the Greater Toronto Area. Trace Labs is a nonprofit that works to reunite missing persons with their families while training people in OSINT.

Three talks ran alongside the competition. Lusia Dion, founder of a site raising awareness of long-term missing and unidentified adults, spoke on the power of collaboration. Radar gave an introduction to OSINT tools and techniques, and Danny Vacar of Security Compass walked through common tools in practice.
